No, but I have an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA). I have almost 18.5 years of real world experience in a Food Manufacturing company and Life Sciences company. I've held multiple roles that give me a wide range of knowledge of a business from Transportation, Shipping, Receiving, Quality Assurance, Inventory Management, Cost Accounting, Operations Accounting, Financial Accounting, and System Implementations &/or Upgrades. I've been a people manager and an individual contributor. I've hired team members and trained team members. I've also been around for multiple business life cycle ebbs and flows. I've witnessed how a business manages surplus inventory in an overly saturated market, as well as how the business handles shortages due to varying restraints and the effects on the end customer.

Most services offered by Latoya D. Allen Consulting, LLC are for a virtual service, meaning all meetings and communication are conducted virtually to keep the rate reasonable. If an onsite visit is needed there is a premium for the travel and time spent at that location. The time spent onsite will be to shadow team members for the project of documenting their step-by-step work instruction and process flows that aren't completed via a system that can't be handled via a video conference call. My time onsite will be fully dedicated to understanding your business and being available in person for any assistance needed. This time can also be used to have a meeting to discuss any additional questions regarding the project.

The contracts for Documenting the Business Process and Onsite Travel are separate due to timing. Latoya D. Allen Consulting, LLC can shadow many business processes during that onsite visit. But to formally document those processes is a separate service contract. My service contracts are setup to be completed within 5 business days.

The plan is to have my schedule aligned so that I'm not working on more than 2 major projects at a time. The Business Consultations and the project consultations will be held at the beginning of the week, so that the latter part of the week can be dedicated to completing the special projects. My goal is to ensure that I'm offering a quality product or resolution to each customer.

Business Problem: An Inventory cycle count process was needed. Upon review of the Inventory System, there was no way to scan the product directly into the system and log the last count date.
Resolve: Since the IT resources were not available to build custom programming into the Inventory System to be able to solve the issue, I had to think outside the box for a resolve. I designed a custom report and submitted it to the Inventory System's IT group to build. Then, used that report to export the Current System Inventory List. The Inventory Count Team scanned product found during the count into a blank spreadsheet. That data was then compared to the exported system Inventory list to verify product counted was the product selected for the count, a register to floor assessment was performed, and a floor to register assessment was also performed. Lastly the results were compiled into a workbook to submit to the Leadership team noting what specific serial numbers, quantities, and product discrepancies were found during the count.

Business Problem: Needed a way to understand the company's financial standing (owed to vendor or due to us) with a vendor or product supplier. Vendor/Product Supplier data exists between 3 Integrated systems. No reporting existed to analyze all of this data.
Resolve: Created a custom Workbook report that pulled in open purchase orders from the Inventory System, Prepaid Balances from the Financial System, and the open payable invoices due from the Billing system to compile a net balance by vendor.
